Monsters cause us to detune, disconnect and isolate. They are our fears, our stressors and the inner pieces we have difficulty embracing. They make us out of tune and out of sync with ourselves and the world around us.

Exploring monsters as fears
-conscious and unconscious
What do monsters cause
-Physical reactions: noticing body tension
-Stress responses: sympathetic and parasympathetic
– Emotional isolation (and accepting help)
-Noticing our monsters
-accepting and inviting them (creating harmony)
-identifying our monsters that scare us from connecting
Healing our monsters.
-First we need to see them
-How to heal:
-create a routine / ritual
-what is something you can practice everyday to cultivate peace
-set boundaries
-learn what needs to change around you and within you that needs to shift to support your healing. Set healthy boundaries that support your shift!
-Remember that you have the capacity to heal – if your body can do it, you can do it.
– what needs to heal, what needs more peace, more strength, more curiosity?
Why do we need to connect to our monsters:
-we prevent ourselves from living our best lives
-we prevent ourselves from stepping forth as a whole version of ourselves
-there is always more to heal
How to heal:
-recognize what you want to transform (ex. depression to peace, or anxiety to calm)
-How can you engage your fears and help them transform into your strength.
-Let your strengths be your super monsters
-Identity what they are, and give them names
-love your monsters
-Self care- helping to heal the world-
-Introduce your monsters to others.
-Bring the presence of your monsters into everyday
-Practice and embody their energy.
